12 hour time lapse of Tims pull up challenge

Read more about Tim’s challenge below. Congratulations Tim!

Hi, my name is Tim. Some two years ago, my good friend Paul Smith was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.

Motor Neurone Disease is a Neuro Degenerative Disease (NDD) that prevents the central nervous system from sending signals to motor neurones, which are critical to the movement and control of limbs.

Since being diagnosed Paul has lost both the use of his arms and legs and is now wheelchair-bound. One of the many challenges he faces is getting out of his 1st-floor apartment and he’s often confined to one room for weeks at a time.

The good news, he’s just managed to sell his apartment and purchase a ground-floor flat. The bad news, the new place requires a lot of building work to make it suitable for his needs – which is money that he just doesn’t have. So, with your help, I’m hoping to raise some funds to help get that work started, so Paul, his wife Natasha and two children Holly and James can move into their new home as soon as possible.

On the 16th of June, I’m going to do a 12-hour pull-up challenge. Basically, as many pull-ups in 12 hours as I can do. I know things are tight for everybody at the moment, and I know it’s asking a lot, but if anybody can spare anything at all to support me, I’d really appreciate it.

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering sponsoring me and helping to support Paul in his fight against MND.
